PRIVACY POLICY FOR TINYSTOCK
Effective Date: October 17, 2026
App Name: TinyStock – Kids Garment Inventory & Sales Manager
Company: RIGBY HOMES LTD
1. INTRODUCTION
RIGBY HOMES LTD ("we", "us", or "our") provides TinyStock (the "App"), an offline inventory, sales, and shop-management application for people managing a children's clothing business. This Privacy Policy describes the information handled by the App and the choices available to its users.
2. INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO ENTER
TinyStock allows you to record information such as:
- Shop name and business settings;
- Product and garment names, categories, sizes, colors, quantities, prices, costs, and low-stock thresholds;
- Supplier names and optional supplier telephone numbers;
- Purchases, stock adjustments, sales, discounts, returns, and other transaction details;
- Expense categories, amounts, dates, and notes; and
- Optional sale notes and other business information that you enter.
Some supplier details, notes, or other entries may contain personal information if you choose to enter it. Please only record information you are authorized to use.
3. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
The App uses saved information on your device to manage inventory, calculate stock levels and estimated profit, record purchases and sales, manage returns and expenses, generate reports, and prepare receipts. Personal information is not required merely to open and use the App; some information is necessary if you choose to use specific record-keeping functions.
4. LOCAL STORAGE AND DATA TRANSMISSION
TinyStock is designed to work offline. Information you enter is stored locally in an app-private SQLite database and local settings on your Android device. The App does not require a TinyStock account or a connection to a developer-operated server for its core functionality. In the source version reviewed for this policy, there is no developer-operated cloud synchronization, advertising integration, or analytics integration, and the Android manifest does not declare an internet permission.
We do not receive your locally stored inventory, supplier, sales, or expense records through the App's normal operation. Your device's operating system and any independently enabled device backup or file services may operate under their own terms and settings.
5. RECEIPTS, BACKUPS, AND USER-INITIATED SHARING
You may export a sales receipt as a PDF or save a copy of the App's database to a location you select using Android's document interface. You may also import a database backup into the App. These actions are initiated by you. Exported files may contain business details and, where entered, personal information about suppliers or other individuals.
The App does not automatically send those files to us. If you select a third-party document provider, cloud storage location, messaging service, or sharing destination, that provider may process the file under its own privacy terms. Please protect and share exported files carefully. Importing a database backup can replace the records currently stored in the App.
6. DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES
We do not sell your in-app records or disclose the local database to advertisers. In the reviewed build, the App is not configured to transmit your saved records to analytics services or developer-operated servers. If you deliberately export or share data through another app or service, your chosen service may receive that data.
7. SECURITY
The App uses Android's application-private local storage for its database. It does not claim that all data on a device or every exported file is encrypted. Device security, access controls, operating-system behavior, and the security of your chosen export destination affect protection of the information. We recommend using a device screen lock and storing exported backups securely.
8. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Records remain stored locally until you edit or remove them using available App features, clear the App's storage through Android settings, or uninstall the App (subject to device behavior). Clearing the App's storage removes locally stored App data; uninstalling normally removes the App-private database. Exported receipts and backup files are separate copies and must be deleted from their saved locations independently. We do not operate an account database that requires a remote account-deletion request.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
TinyStock is a business-management tool for shop owners and staff, not an application designed for children to use. The App manages information about children's clothing products; it does not ask for children's profiles or require children's personal information. Please do not enter unnecessary personal details about children into notes or other fields.
10. INTERNATIONAL USE
The App may be used in different locations, but its core business records remain on the device unless you choose to export or share them. RIGBY HOMES LTD is based in the United Kingdom. Applicable privacy rights and obligations may vary depending on the place where you use the App.
11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this policy when the App's features or data-handling practices change. The latest applicable policy and its effective date will be made available through the App and on the publicly accessible privacy-policy page used for the Google Play listing.
